On the 8th of July I will be visiting Crete, Greece during two weeks. I will hopefully have some updates during that time. I'm really excited to see a new places, do some birding and looking at some butterflies. Of course, do some photographing as well. In case you've missed, I visited Ravlunda, East Scania, during a night. The pictures is under LATEST PICTURES These two pictures were taken a sunny day in may. For any one wondering these clouds are the of the common kind named cumulus congestus (upptornade stackmoln). During warm days water from the surface evaporates and rises up. When the water vapor reaches a certain height, it condenses in to water droplets which forms these clouds. Depending on the circumstances with different airflow, temperatures and convection the cumulus clouds can form congestus shapes. In the long run these clouds are the parents to cumulonimbus clouds which are heavily charged and often create fierce lightning.
