Also, my Nikon 300mm Af-s f/4 broke a few weeks ago. Strangely it was a prisma inside the lens which came of. So for now I'm stuck with my dad's old Tamron 400mm f/4 manual focus. It's a quite good lens, even though I miss the auto focus. Here are a couple of pictures from the last weeks with that lens:

No sign of snow down here in southern Sweden and I haven't found any inspiration to take photos in the December darkness, but I have visited the rare Spotted sandpiper that has been seen near Kristianstad so hear are a few pictures from that place, on two very typical Swedish winter birds:
