Along the coast the colors was no were to be seen. So was the spring birds that supposedly should have arrived by now. There was a lot of ducks on the other hand, probably seeking shelter from the wind in the lagoons. Around a thousands birds, mostly Tufted ducks and Greater Scaups. On top of the rain and misery I found the remains of a swan laying in the grass.
Upon returning home the Snow has started to cover the ground even though it was not freezing temperatures outside. I realized this was the perfekt day to photograph snowdrops' fight against nature. Since the snow fell there was an opportunity to capture snow trails together with the flowers but it was not snowing heavy enough to be effect full. I moved on to flash photography using the built in flash and a external slave flash as back lightning.
Have a great week!
