A week ago I visited an oasis in the middle of the agriculture landscape in Scania, called Rövarekulan. It's a lush forest in the valley of Bråån. If you want to enjoy and photograph Grey wagtail (Forsärla), this is the place. We saw at least 3 individuals there. Otherwise it's a nice place to enjoy incredible beech-forest scenery. At this time of the year the beech buds are just about to burst out to leaves, witch i capture in the pictures below. I suggest you visit the place! |
Later the same day I went to a friend of the family to listened to a Eagle owl in Northern Scania. Sadly we failed to hear it, but I experimented high-key pictures and caught this Starling (stare) and Red-winged thrush (Rödvingetrast). I also captured tow other Red-winged thrushes in none high-key.
