São Tomé in an island located in the Gulf of Guinea, far away from any kind of mainland. The island is a part of a line inactive volcanoes. It's covered in rain forest atleast the parts that aren't palm oil plantation...
Almost half of the birds that lives on the island is endemics to the island and 4 of them are classed as some of worlds rarest birds. Goal of the trip was to catch and learn a little more about the mysterious São Tomé Grossbeak.
