I spend Thursday morning at my local patch, taking photos in the morning light. Got to experience some Whooper swans up close again, it's always nice.

Last Sunday I visited my favorite patch close to my home. I finally got a nice morning with a sunrise, after the winter darkness. I'm looking forward a new spring season there. You can watch pictures from last season here: Dawn w/ Swans All pictures will be found here: Latest pictures
I had a very cool and unexpected observation of at least 300 Hawfinches feeding in a Hornbeam (Avenbok) forest close to Finjasjön, Scania this Saturday. It was the 4:th biggest number observed in Sweden according to "Artdatabanken". Awesome!
Also, I was a guest on "Naturmorgon", a Swedish radio program, and spoke live from the field. The program was live on Saturday's morning but you could always listened to the podcast here: http://sverigesradio.se/sida/avsnitt/511285?programid=1027 (in Swedish). Here are some B/W pictures on a couple of Hawfinches and a squirrel. The last couple of days has given hope that spring will return this year as well! Here's some pictures:
A couple of pictures from the week I enjoy how the geese pull out the "landing gear" before landing. Notice the Pink-footed, with the pink feet. I visited the sewage work i Lund yesterday. I wanted to see and photographs the hybrid between Ferruginous duck and Tufted duck. I must say, it's incredibly beautiful! Just take a moment and enjoy the duck. Also enjoyed some other ducks and grebes:
17/1 me and my family went to Skäralid, Söderåsens NP on my request. Since I'm currently short one lens I have lost a bit of inspiration to take bird pictures, on the other hand inspiration to take other pictures have been flowing. The objective in Skäralid was to take some landscape picture along with enjoying the incredible scenery. I suggest you to stop there if you are around.
In connection to a monthly challenge in a facebook-group, I visited the city park i Lund to capture Mallards. I used the 24-120 AF-S VR f/4 and used long shutterspeed to capture motion. Here are my two favorites:
